The Rigged Shrymp is built on the standard SHRYMP body, with an internal lead weight and an extra-wide-gap 2X black nickel hook.

The weight placement controls the bait's posture through the fall, and the hook is built for the larger fish that feed on shrimp around inshore structure.

  • Belly-First Fall: The weight placement was developed in-house and tested on the water by pro staff. It brings the bait down belly first, replicating the descent of a natural shrimp. A jighead carries the weight at the nose and draws the bait down nose-first.

  • Extra-Wide-Gap 2X Hook: The wider gap leaves more of the point exposed beyond the soft plastic, for cleaner penetration and a more secure hold. The 2X black nickel wire resists opening when larger fish are turned away from docks, mangroves, and pilings.

  • Realistic Painted Finish: Painted detailing and black eyes across all 12 colorways.

  • High-Pressure Injection Molding: The body design is the same as the standard SHRYMP. It is injection-molded from premium soft plastic under high pressure for consistency and durability.

  • Target Species: Snook, seatrout, redfish, flounder, mangrove snapper, and shallow-water grouper.

Sizes and Weights: 2.5" (1/16 oz, 1/8 oz); 3.5" (1/4 oz, 1/2 oz).

Colors: Pearl, Red Gold Flake, New Penny, Brown Sugar, Chicken Pox, Beer Money, Gold Flake, Black Flake, Blaze, Silver Shadow, Blue Lagoon, Bronze.

Pack: 3.

Applications: Flats, docks, mangroves, bridges, passes, channel edges.

  • Twitch and pause: Short twitches of the rod tip, each followed by a pause that lets the bait settle belly first. Strikes typically come on the fall.
  • Bottom crawl: Drag it slowly along the bottom with an occasional twitch, kicking up small puffs of sand the way a moving shrimp does.
  • Current drift: Drift it with the tide, rod tip low, managing slack to control the drift and the fall. Suited to bridges, passes, and inlets where fish hold on moving water.
  • Skip under cover: Skip it under docks and mangrove overhangs and let it fall, watching the line on the drop.
  • Under a popping cork: Suspend it beneath a popping cork over grass flats. The pop creates surface commotion that draws fish in, and the bait settles back beneath the cork between pops.
