The STRYKE is our premier jig for rapid descent and high-speed performance in the most challenging currents. The darting action and Streaking freefall are excellent for Slow Pitch Jigging and Speed Jigging.

Designed for currents ranging from 0 to 4.0 knots, the STRYKE Jig is a must-have for anglers targeting deep-water species. This is our most popular Tuna Jig.

Slow pitch jigging or vertical jigging the STRYKE are both effective methods for fishing nearshore and offshore.

Rapid Descent: The STRYKE Jig's design ensures it quickly reaches the bottom, making it perfect for high-speed current conditions.

Most Popular Tuna Jig: Yellowfin, Bigeye, Bluefin and Blackfin Tunas have all been caught consistently with the STRYKE Slow Pitch Jig.

Darting Action: With a dynamic darting action when pitched and a pronounced streaking motion during descent, the STRYKE Jig is highly effective in both slow- and fast-jigging techniques.

Glow Options: Available in vibrant green glow and blue glow (White Crackle variant), increasing visibility and attractiveness to fish.

Target Species: Ideal for targeting Tuna, Wahoo, Grouper, Snapper, Tilefish, Stripers, Lake Trout, Salmon, and Kingfish.

Wire-through construction: Built tough with our TRU-WIRE construction to increase strength and durability. This design greatly increases catch rates and ensures a solid connection to the fish throughout the fight.

Symmetrical Design: JYG PRO Fishing designs all of the slow pitch jigs with symmetry in mind to ensure a balanced and stable presentation in the water.

Weight Range: 80g, 140g, 240g, 340g, 440g, 540g.

The STRYKE Jig is designed for reliability in challenging environments. Its rapid descent and dynamic action ensure you can effectively target a wide range of species, even in strong currents.

This jig is used by beginners and experts alike with great results.

Using the general rule of 1 gram of jig weight per every 1ft of depth, we can decide which size jig to use. For instance, when fishing in 150 feet, a jig weight between 130g and 200g would be acceptable.

Take note of the current speed and scale up or down in size as needed to reach the bottom!

I can tell you a secret! Snappers and groupers love JYG STRYKE! I ordered it from the UK and i received it surprisingly quick. It was dispatched the next day, and I received it within 6-7 working days! I hope more distributors learn about JYG STRYKE and bring it to the UK!

I know they'll catch giant sharks

Had a similar jyg I used at night time. Unfortunately a giant shark took it after a long battle. So I know the jyg will catch fish. Next time I'll make it a 30 lb black grouper!
