One day in Venice the Swym caught us, 38lb kingfish, 41lb wahoo, jacks, bobo, blackfin, and a 180lb yellowfin tuna! What more could you need!

ABs love these swim baits and jig heads I first bought NLBN’s. Till I saw these. Now my NLBN’s are sitting in the tackle box and my JYG’s are on the end of my lines and IN THE WATER!!!! Love em!!! The deep 200g Sardine caught me a dinosaur of a gag grouper over 50 pounds I think it’s safe to say it works.

Offshore, this is an “Air Jordan” of sorts with ridiculous hang time. #1 choice in low current situations. If you can keep it vertical, get the women and children in on the jigging game because this one is easy to work and the the fish like it so much they fight over it; red snapper have come up several times hanging off both ends. AJs will test your knot strength and the non-stop action will test yours. 200g is about right around here (middle texas coast). So I bought a 20g wyld just to see… it’s about the size of a bay shrimp. With the feathered assist hooks, it even kind of looks like a shrimp. Is this to catch bait 🤔? Not knowing what to expect, I took it to the West Galveston Bay Area, tossed it out, and off it went like a lead bullet zipping through the air. At this point I was expecting to hang on an oyster when it hit bottom, loose it, and that would put an end to the nonsense, but a spec ate it first. Lucky cast right? After that I started toying with the retrieve - how am I supposed to make this thing dance sideways when it is designed to fall? What about the classic two twitches followed by a pause? Will the fish even eat this in 2-4 ft bay water? The hooks it came with seem tiny - do I need to swap out the assists for bigger ones? I don’t know if i can answer those questions, but I can tell you 1) it out fished live shrimp on the boat 2) it limited my box of specs and slot reds, and others started using the same 20g wyld to work on their boxes (and yes, I left the tiny hooks it came with on it - and 22-25” reds got hooked no problem) and 3) the entire boat was disappointed when the one 20g I had finally did get hung on oysters and lost. It felt like the day was over as others were still trying to give away their live shrimp to bait stealers. I don’t have all the answers, but I can tell you: IT GETS BIT.

Flat out works!

Spent the last two weeks jig fishing southern Italy. I initially started with My “go to” and it just was working. I swapped out old faithful and tied on a WYLD 220 and it got slammed before it reached the bottom. Fished the two weeks out fishing everyone else in our group. Thanks for a great product and I highly recommend using the WYLD selection.

Worked great for West coast yellowtail

My son used the 180g Katty Perry tungsten on an 8 day trip out of San Diego to catch Pacific Yellowtail up to 35 lbs. We were at Thetis bank in about 150 feet of water. He was speed jigging and caught a limit with the jig rigged with twin Decoy 3/0 hooks on top. Great jig!

Awesome jig. Get when fish want a small profile jig. I've used this jig in high and low current. Red/gold save the day for me on one of my trips. Semy catches a lot of fish.

Peacock Bass Candy - Best Crappie Jig I've ever used!

I've now gone through about seven packs of the 1/8th oz White/Silver crappie jig. These things are the best Peacock Bass jig I've ever used. I've landed multiple 4lb plus fish and I've completely lost count of how many I've caught over 3 pounds Aside from being so visually attractive to Peacock Bass, they are made with an extremely strong hook. Almost always sets perfectly in the top lip or corner of the jaw. Never once had a hook bend out which is a big problem with other crappie jigs I fish 10 pound test monofilament on spinning tackle. These are very easy to cast… They get hits if you work them slow on the bottom or if you rip them fast on top. I've caught plenty of bycatch largemouth bass and big bluegills as well Look up Fishing With WPB Charlie on YouTube or Instagram if you wanna see pics or videos of all my catches using these jigs. Trust me they're insane. About to place another order right now.

Just Getting Started

I'm new to the reef fishing game. Having this kit available and with the options included really helps the "uncertainty" of which size or style or color to get. The folks at JYG know how to pick them. These jigs are high quality, fairly priced and definitely built to last. I'm glad I purchased these.

Crappie Jigs

These jigs are stout and can catch every specie of fish in both salt and freshwater! I will be coming back for more of these in the future! Here a peacock bass that inhaled the crappie jig as soon as it hit the water!
