MULLYT FAQ
Got questions? We've got answers
Match the bait in the water. The 4" covers most inshore work â snook, redfish, sea trout â and shines when juvenile mullet are running. Step up to the 5" for big snook, tarpon, striped bass, and peacock bass, or anytime mullet are bigger and predators are keying on a thicker profile.
The MULLYT body has special cuts that line up with a swimbait hook for a clean weedless rig â point hidden, ready for grass, mangroves, and docks. Match hook size to bait size: a 4/0 to 5/0 swimbait hook works for the 4", and 6/0 to 7/0 for the 5". Belly-weighted swimbait hooks help the bait sit upright through the retrieve.
The MULLYT was built for inshore saltwater predators that key on mullet â snook, tarpon, redfish, sea trout, and jack crevalle. The mullet profile also crosses over cleanly into freshwater, making it deadly on largemouth bass and peacock bass. If a fish eats juvenile mullet, the MULLYT belongs in your box.
A slow, steady retrieve is the bread-and-butter â the paddle tail thumps and pushes water even at low speeds, perfect for picky fish in calm conditions. You can also rip-pause it like a wounded mullet, or burn it across the surface for tarpon and big snook crashing bait. Around grass and structure, fish it weedless and slow.
The MULLYT is purpose-built to imitate juvenile mullet â molded scales, fin detail, and a realistic eye on a body shape that reads exactly like the real thing. It's injection-molded under high pressure for consistent action and durability, and the body design accepts a clean weedless rig that most paddle tails can't match.
Six colors covering every water clarity and light condition: Pearl, Mullet, Highlighter Pearl, Flamingo, Dirty Dinero, and 2 Stroke. Mullet and Pearl match natural baitfish on clear flats; Highlighter Pearl and Flamingo cut through stained water and low light; Dirty Dinero and 2 Stroke are reaction-bite trigger colors.
