JYG PRO Ball Bearing Swivels are built from stainless steel with welded rings on both ends, so the rated strength holds at every connection point. A ball bearing swivel keeps rotating under load, where a standard barrel swivel tends to bind. That continuous rotation releases line twist during the jig's fall and action and through the fight, keeping the leader and main line from kinking and weakening over a long day.
Placed between the main line and leader, or between the leader and a solid ring, the swivel isolates the jig's movement from the rest of the rig, so the lure works as designed without transferring twist up the line. The welded rings give each knot a smooth, closed surface to seat against, with no gap or seam for the line to work into.
