Kits FAQ

What comes in each kit?

Each kit pairs the jigs, soft plastics, heads or hooks we fish for that target, in the weights that reach it. Open any kit to see every piece, its weight and its color before you add it to your cart.

Can I change the colors?

Yes. Every kit comes with the patterns our Pro Staff fishes regularly. Keep them as they are or swap any color before adding the kit to your cart. Weights stay fixed so the kit still works as a set.

What is the difference between SMALL and LARGE?

SMALL: Figuring out your fishery? Try a handful of lures picked out by our Pros and save 5%.

LARGE: More pieces, usually doubles of the same weights, so you can lose one on the bottom and keep fishing. Save 10%.

Kits that only come in one size save 5%.

Which kit should I choose for the depth I fish?

Start at about one gram per foot of depth, so 130 to 200 g at 150 ft, and go heavier in strong current. Our depth kits (Nearshore, Offshore and Deepwater) are already built on that rule.

Are the jigs rigged?

Jigs up to 340 g come rigged with assist hooks. Our 400 g and heavier jigs ship unrigged so you can set them up for your own deep-drop rig.

Is there a kit for beginners?

The Starter Jigging Kit includes a Foundation slow pitch rod and six jigs, which is everything you need to start. For more experienced anglers, the Pro Jigging Kit pairs the Evolution Lite rod with the same six jigs.
