The Royal Slam 6'4" Deep Drop Stand-Up 50-80 is a conventional rod for stand-up fighting, deep dropping, and planer trolling in the 50–80 lb class. The 6'4" length keeps leverage on the angler's side when lifting heavy leads and fish from depth, and the power of the 50–80 lb class makes it well suited to Gulf swordfishing. For planer trolling, the Winthrop Roller Top configuration pulls up to a size 6 planer.
