Royal Slam Deep Drop Stand Up is a 6'4" conventional rated 50–80#, built for working heavy leads at depth and fighting from a belt. The length keeps the lever arm short for lifting while leaving enough tip to read a bite through current and lead weight on a long drop. Once the fish is off the bottom, the load moves down into the lower section for the pump back up.
Guides are Fuji Silicon Nitride for ring hardness and heat tolerance under sustained drag, and grips are EVA. The rod is built as a top section matched to a butt, offered here with the Epic #2 and the Terminator #2, so the butt is specified with the order rather than fixed to the blank.
