Crowbar is a heavy bottom and bridge series built on an E-glass blank. E-glass loads deep and progressive, bending well into the blank under sustained load and standing up to the abuse of harsh environments. Crowbar comes in 7', 8', and 9' lengths in 30–50# and 50–100# ratings, an homage to old-school Palm Beach style rods. The 7' and 8' follow the bottom rod profile for dropping baits and working fish up off the bottom, while the length of the 9' lifts fish and steers them clear of the pilings.
The rod runs stainless steel wire foulproof guides, with no inserts to crack or pop loose under heavy line and sustained load, and stainless holds up to salt. The reel seat is an American Tackle heavy-duty seat, and the grips are EVA for durability. The finish is all-black, coated from tip to grip to handle the abuse.
