The Live Series uses the same proven shapes and actions as the original JYG lineup — the DEEP, SEMY, STRYKE, and WYLD. The difference is the finish: photorealistic baitfish patterns designed to replicate real prey species and trigger bites when pressured fish ignore standard jigs.
The SEMY and STRYKE are built for 1.5–4.0 knots. For moderate current (0.5–2.5 knots), go with the DEEP. The WYLD is designed for calm water (0–1 knot) where its erratic wobble shines.
Match what the fish are feeding on. Sardine and Wahoo work well in clear blue water. Vermillion and Mahi are go-to patterns for reef species. Squid is effective at depth and in low light.
ll four Live Series models work for grouper and snapper. For deep water (300–600 ft), use the SEMY or STRYKE in heavier weights. For shallower reefs (up to 140 ft), the DEEP or WYLD are ideal.
