The Royal Slam 6'0" Stand-Up with a nylon slick butt is a conventional rod for stand-up fighting and trolling in the 50–80 line class. It carries a nylon slick butt with a Fuji reel seat in place of the Winthrop ferrule and butt system used on the rest of the line. At 6'0", the short blank keeps leverage with the angler under heavy drag.
The rod runs Fuji guides and EVA grips, with a choice of a Fuji Ring Top or a Winthrop Roller Top, which turns with the line to reduce friction and wear when a fish is running against a heavy setting.
